Full description

I Was There is a social app for sharing where you’ve been and what mattered—whether it’s a night out, a tribute to someone you love, or a pin on the map. Blips & Echoes - Threads for events. Going to a concert, party, or festival? Create or join a Blip for the event and add your photos and videos as Echoes so everyone who was there can relive it together. Cairns - Threads for memorials. Honor those you’ve lost with Cairns—shared memorial spaces for pictures, videos, and stories that family and friends can visit and contribute to. Monuments & Milestones - Threads for achievements. Build Monuments and milestones to mark and share important moments in your life. Allow others to celebrate the same accomplishment by creating a Monument thread, or keep the accolades all to yourself with an individual milestone with controls for who can see it (for example private, connections, or everyone). Landmarks - Threads for destinations. Plant a flag and leave Landmarks on the map to mark places that mean something to you. Or create a Landmark collection listing similar types of destinations to visit like Black Sand Beaches or Farmer's Markets across your region. Pebbles - Your personal profile of moments in your life. Share a great photo, a short video, or a passing thought with the world by tossing a Pebble to see if it makes a splash. Stay connected Find people, manage connection requests, chat, get notifications, and explore content on the map and through search—so your memories and discoveries stay easy to find. I Was There is free to download and create your profile with access to Blips and Cairns. A Premium subscription can be purchased In App to access Landmarks, Monuments, Pebbles and direct messaging. A portion of subscription proceeds go to charity, supporting those experiencing homelessness, poverty and mental health issues in Canada where the app was developed. I Was There - Hosting memories across nations and generations.
