Full description
You are the shop manager of a corner store the size of one room. Every morning you fill in the order sheet. Milk, bread, crisps, cola, whatever you think today wants. Then the doors open, and you find out. THE WHOLE GAME IS THE ORDER SHEET This is not a game about tapping customers. Once the shift starts you cannot change your mind. Shoppers come in, take what they came for, queue at the till and pay. If a shelf is empty they leave without buying. If the queue gets too long they leave anyway. You get three trips to the back room and no more. That is your only move once the doors are open. Spend them badly and you watch the rest of the shift go wrong from behind the counter. A shift takes about three minutes. THE TILL ROLL At close the receipt prints out of the register, one line at a time, in the order the sales happened. Every sale, every walkout, every crate of milk that went off before anyone bought it. Then the total. It is the best three seconds in the game and it is where you find out whether the order sheet was right. WHAT MAKES IT HARD Demand moves. Milk sells in the morning, crisps sell at night, and by shift twenty the swings are wide enough that last week's order sheet is a bad guess. New stock lines keep unlocking but the shelf only holds ten, so ordering becomes a question of what to leave out. Fresh food that does not sell is written off in front of you. There is no strategy that wins every day. There is only a better read of the day. WHAT IS IN IT - A full grocery store game loop in about three minutes a shift - A short game by design: one order sheet, one shift, one total - 18 stock lines, each with its own cost, profit margin and time of day - Stock the shelves before you open, and only ten lines fit - Stand at the till to serve customers, or go out the back and watch the queue build while you are gone - Three back-room trips a shift, and a clock - Perishables that spoil if you over-order - A printed till roll at every close - 20 goals, and one secret that most people will never see - The signs. The shop is covered in handwritten notes about prices, apologies and the toilet. They are not helpful. - Hand-drawn pixel art, warm and sunny, no 3D - English and Korean - An offline game. No account, no login, no timers you have to come back for. Not an idle game. Not a tycoon. You will not be running a chain. You are running one shop, on a Tuesday, and you are trying to get the milk order right. ADS This app contains ads. A short ad plays after every third shift closes. Optional rewarded ads are offered at the end of a shift: double the day's take, or hire a bagger for tomorrow. If you go broke, a wholesaler credit line is offered the same way. You never have to watch one. There are no in-app purchases. Privacy policy: https://crystllabs.com/privacy.html
