DesiWake

DesiWake is an alarm clock for mornings that deserve better than a buzzer. Fifteen original tracks, written and produced for this app, carry you from sleep to standing. Tabla and dholak, sarangi and bansuri, ghazal calm and festival brightness — the sound of a morning that feels like an occasion rather than an interruption. PRABHAT — THE GENTLE PRE-ALARM Prabhat begins before your real alarm does. The screen warms into marigold and gold while a soft track rises and a countdown runs. Most mornings you are already awake when the alarm itself arrives. Dismiss it with a hold — no frantic tapping in the dark. TABLA — VIBRATION WITH RHYTHM Vibration patterns built on tabla phrasing rather than a flat buzz, in escalating strengths. Works on the lock screen and through aggressive battery savers. FIFTEEN ORIGINAL TRACKS Every track is original and included in the app — nothing streams, nothing buffers, nothing depends on a connection. Choose a track per alarm, or let DesiWake pick one at random so no two mornings sound alike. ALARMS THAT ACTUALLY FIRE Survives swipe-kill on aggressive Android skins. Restores after reboot. Repeat patterns for weekdays, weekends, or any custom set of days. Adjustable fade-in. Snooze with a live countdown. 12H/24H display. WORKS OFFLINE Alarms and music run entirely on your device. Airplane mode, dead Wi-Fi, no signal in a hotel room — the alarm still goes off. PRIVACY No microphone, camera, contacts, or location access. Your alarms and track choices stay on your phone.
