CrewTalk

The walkie-talkie upgrade your crew actually wants. CrewTalk replaces clunky radios with instant push-to-talk on the phones your team already carries. Built for film sets, live events, construction sites, and any crew that needs fast, reliable voice communication without the hassle of traditional two-way radios. PUSH-TO-TALK VOICE Tap and hold to talk — just like a walkie-talkie. Crystal-clear audio with under 200ms latency. Switch between channels with a rotary dial. Monitor multiple channels at once. Latch Talk mode locks your mic open hands-free. All Call broadcasts to every channel simultaneously. WORKS WITH ANY HEADSET Bluetooth, wired, and USB-C headsets are all supported. Dedicated PTT button support for Sonim and rugged devices. A built-in Headset Wizard automatically detects your button layout and configures the perfect PTT mode for your hardware. MESSAGING & IMAGE SHARING Send text messages, photos, and @mentions to channels or direct messages to individuals. Full-text search across your message history. Emoji reactions for quick acknowledgments. Messages queue offline and are delivered automatically when you reconnect. WHISPER & LIVE-SIGHT CALLS Private one-on-one voice calls (Whisper) and video calls (Live-Sight) with WebRTC encryption. See who's online and available before calling. Full-screen incoming call notifications wake the screen — no missed calls. HUBS & CHANNELS Create a hub for your production, event, or job site. Add up to 10 channels (Camera, Sound, Lighting, etc.) or use one of 12 industry templates. Invite members with a QR code or share link. Assign admin roles, restrict channel access, and manage your crew from one place. WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET CrewTalk automatically detects your network environment. On WiFi with no internet? It switches to local peer-to-peer mode (CTDP) — no cloud server needed. Audio, messages, and presence all work over your local network. Perfect for remote locations, basements, or stages with no cell signal. WEATHER ALERTS Outdoor crews get NWS severe weather alerts pushed directly to the app. Mandatory acknowledgment ensures every crew member sees critical warnings. Radar overlay shows approaching storms. BACKGROUND AUDIO A persistent foreground service keeps your PTT connection alive while you use other apps. The floating overlay button lets you transmit from any screen. Headset buttons work even with the screen off. DESIGNED FOR PROFESSIONALS Dark theme optimized for outdoor visibility. Compact layout for rugged 5" devices. Kiosk mode locks the device to CrewTalk for shared crew phones. Tally light integration connects to cameras via Bluetooth for live recording indicators. FREE & PRO PLANS Get started free with 1 hub, 2 channels, and 5 members.
