Full description
Tired of tapping snooze and falling right back asleep? RouseUp is the exercise alarm clock that won't let you cheat your way back to bed. When your alarm goes off, you don't dismiss it with a tap — you dismiss it by moving. RouseUp's on-device AI watches you complete real reps of a real exercise before it will let the ringing stop. HOW IT WORKS Set your wake-up time and pick an exercise. When the alarm fires, your phone's camera turns on and RouseUp's AI pose detection tracks your body in real time, counting genuine reps as you move. Snooze the old way and the alarm keeps ringing. Only finishing your reps turns it off. EIGHT EXERCISES, NOT JUST ONE Most exercise-alarm apps only track a single move. RouseUp supports squats, push-ups, jumping jacks, lunges, burpees, high knees, sit-ups, and plank holds, so you can match your wake-up workout to how you actually want to start the morning, not whatever the app happens to support. REAL ANTI-CHEAT, NOT DECORATION RouseUp's anti-cheat validation rejects the obvious workarounds: propping the phone up and waving a hand in frame, freezing in position, or rotating your body instead of actually moving. If you're not really doing the exercise, the alarm keeps ringing. BUILT FOR HEAVY SLEEPERS This is the alarm clock for people who've tried everything else — vibrating alarms, alarms across the room, math-problem alarms — and still find a way back to sleep. A camera watching for real movement is a different kind of wake-up call. 100% ON-DEVICE, PRIVACY-FIRST Your camera feed and pose data never leave your phone. All exercise detection runs locally using on-device AI — no video, images, or body-tracking data are ever uploaded anywhere. Your workout history and stats stay in your control. MORNING WORKOUT HABIT, BUILT IN Every alarm you dismiss with real reps is a few minutes of movement before your day even starts. RouseUp tracks your streaks, personal records, and workout history so the habit compounds instead of resetting every morning. WHO IT'S FOR Heavy sleepers who've given up on every other alarm trick. Anyone trying to build a consistent morning workout habit without adding a separate app or routine. People who want their alarm clock to actually hold them accountable instead of politely asking. RouseUp requires a free account to get started and is supported by ads. Camera access is used only for the alarm's live exercise tracking — never recorded or stored.

What's new

What's New - Fixed a crash that could occur when opening the app for some users - Fixed the "Next Alarm" countdown occasionally showing one minute less than the actual time remaining - You'll be reminded to grant permissions (camera, notifications, exact alarms, battery optimization) if you skipped them earlier — both when creating an alarm and from Settings - Alarm volume now automatically lowers once you're in position, so voice coaching instructions are easier to hear
