Full description
Country Quartet is a friendly card game about the countries of the world. Play against three computer opponents named after famous physicists. Ask them for the cards you need, complete regions of four countries, and score the most quartets to win. HOW IT PLAYS • You are dealt six country cards. • Every country belongs to a region of four — Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland make the Nordic Countries. • Pick a region you have started, choose a country you still need, and ask one opponent for it. • Guess right and you keep your turn. Guess wrong and you take a card from the deck instead. • Collect all four countries in a region to score a point. There are 13 to win. LEARN WHILE YOU PLAY Every card carries the country's flag, capital city, official language, currency and a short fun fact. There are 52 countries across 13 regions, from the Nordic Countries to Oceania. A built-in Countries browser lets you look through all of them outside a game, so it works as a small atlas too. MADE FOR YOUNGER PLAYERS • Large, colourful cards with real flags. • Each region has its own colour, so a hand is easy to read at a glance. • Clear messages after every move: green when a turn goes your way, red when it does not. • A history screen showing every move made in the game. • No timers and no pressure. Designed for ages 7 to 14, and just as playable for any adult who likes geography. COMPLETELY OFFLINE • No internet connection needed — the app requests no permissions at all. • No accounts and no sign-in. • No adverts. • No in-app purchases. • Nothing is collected, and nothing leaves your device. Collect countries, complete quartets, and learn geography!
