KushiKid

Kushi is a mobile application designed to support parents in building and managing daily routines and habit-forming activities for children aged 4–13 years, in conjunction with the KushiKid device. The application enables parents to set up and configure the KushiKid device, create structured routines, and monitor a child’s adherence to those routines over time. It is intended to assist with habit development across activities such as wake-up schedules, study time, playtime, and sleep routines. The app provides a guided onboarding flow for device configuration, including connectivity setup (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi provisioning). Once configured, parents can define daily schedules and routines tailored to their child’s needs. KushiKid allows tracking of routine completion and behavioral consistency through a parent-facing dashboard. The app presents progress data in a simplified format to help parents understand patterns and make adjustments to routines as needed. The primary functionality of the application includes: 1. Device setup and configuration 2. Creation and management of daily routines 3. Monitoring of routine adherence and progress 4. Parent-focused insights on consistency and behavior patterns The application is designed for parent use and does not require direct interaction from children on the mobile device. The associated KushiKid device is used as the primary interface for the child’s engagement with routines. KushiKid focuses on enabling structured habit-building in a consistent and manageable way, reducing the need for repeated manual intervention by parents. The app does not include social features or user-generated public content. All data is intended for private use within the family context. KushiKid is developed with attention to user privacy and data handling practices appropriate for applications involving children and families.
