corePTT turns your smartphone, POC radio or rugged device into a professional push-to-talk (PTT) communicator. Reach your entire team instantly, with a single press, anywhere you have a data connection. Key features: • Real-time PTT voice for channels/groups, with audio optimized for slow networks. • Private and group messaging with text, photos and videos. • Team GPS location on the map. • Emergency (SOS) button. • Support for the physical PTT, channel and SOS hardware buttons on professional two-way radios and rugged devices. • Works with the screen off or the app in the background. Accessibility Service usage: corePTT uses Android's Accessibility Service for a single purpose: to detect the physical PTT (Push-To-Talk), channel and SOS hardware buttons on your radio while the screen is off or the app is running in the background, letting you transmit without unlocking the device — the core workflow expected on a PTT radio. The service only listens for these hardware key events. It does NOT read or inspect screen content, does NOT record or process audio, and does NOT collect, store or share any personal data. An in-app disclosure explains this before you enable it, and you can disable the service at any time via Android Settings → Accessibility.
