TennisStringLog: String Alerts

When did you last restring? Let the log remember, and let it tell you when it is time. TennisStringLog keeps a restring history and play time log for every racket you own, and notifies you when accumulated play time or days since stringing reach your limit. Built for club players and competitors who rotate several rackets. ■ All your rackets on one screen Add each racket with a name or nickname, brand and model, weight and string pattern. Every card on the home screen shows the current string and tension, the date it was strung, accumulated play time and a progress bar toward the next restring. Rackets that are due stand out by color and badge. ■ Restring records Pick the string type (polyester, multifilament, natural gut or hybrid) and note the brand and model. Enter tension in lbs or kg, with separate mains and crosses if you string them differently. Add the date, whether you strung it yourself or used a shop, the cost, notes, and a photo of the break or wear pattern. Photos stay on your device. When you log a new string, that racket's play time starts again from zero automatically. ■ Two ways to log play time Enter it manually with a date and duration, or tap the 1 h, 1.5 h and 2 h presets. On court, start the stopwatch. It keeps running with the screen off or the app closed; when you stop, check the time and save. Pick the racket for each session so time adds up per racket. ■ Restring alerts You are notified when play time or days since stringing reach the limit, whichever comes first, because strings lose tension even when you do not play. Suggested limits are filled in by string type and you can change them on every record. Polyester 10 to 15 hours or 30 days, multifilament 15 to 20 hours or 45 days, natural gut 20 to 25 hours or 60 days, hybrid follows the polyester rule. The check runs once a day and again the moment you save a session. Tap the notification to open that racket. ■ Daily log reminder A gentle nudge at the time you choose to log today's play time. Change the time or turn it off anytime. ■ History and stats See each racket's restring timeline newest first, total play time per racket and string costs per year. The app also works out how many hours each string type lasts on average. ■ Premium One purchase removes banner and full screen ads for good and unlocks a comparison of how long each string lasted by brand and model. Not a subscription. ■ Light, dark and device colors Follow the system, or pick light or dark. On Android 12 and later you can also use the colors from your wallpaper. Restring guidance is based on the play time you log and the limits you set. Actual string condition depends on your playing style, string type, tension and storage.
