AR Safety is an interactive Augmented Reality experience that provides car seat safety tips. Using a child safety seat correctly is the best way to protect kids while on the road. Developed in partnership with Safe Kids Stanislaus County. AR Safety provides an easy and fun way to examine a 5-point harness car seat checkup, right in the palm of your hand. Car seats save lives and greatly reduce injury. Regular car seat checkups and ensuring proper fit along with growing adjustments are important in keeping children safe in cars. Enjoy an educational and entertaining way to understand the various safety features of a 5-point harness using your device. We use your device's camera to display a virtual car seat in your real world space. A properly fitted 5-point car seat harness provides the best possible protection for a child. Always read the labels on the car seat or booster seat for weight, height, and age limits to make sure the car seat is right for your child. Always refer to the US Federal Safety Standards of your child’s car seat and your car seat's manufacturer for the most up-to-date information regarding your car seat.
