"I am Ok. You are Ok." Ok is a wordless family check-in app. You open it, and the people who care about you are informed that you opened the app. No message to write. Nothing to read. Nothing to remember. HOW IT WORKS You open Ok. That is the whole action. One tap, and you can close it again. Your family is told. Everyone in your Family list gets a quiet notification saying you opened it. That is it. No typing, no call, no reply expected. Everyone knows, and the day carries on. To connect, one of you shares a short invite code and the other enters it. That is the whole setup. WHAT YOUR FAMILY SEES Each person on your screen has a coloured dot and the time they last opened Ok: Blue - opened recently Pink - a while ago Maroon - longer ago Grey - not opened yet BUILT FOR A PARENT WHO DOES NOT ENJOY APPS There is nothing to learn. No feed, no messages, no photos, no settings to get wrong. If someone can unlock their phone, they can use Ok. WHO IT IS FOR Parents living on their own, who would rather not be telephoned every morning. Sons and daughters in another city, who check their phone before they check the news. Families spread across states, where a daily call is not realistic but silence is unbearable. IN THE LANGUAGE YOUR FAMILY ACTUALLY SPEAKS Ok works in English, Hindi, Odia and Telugu. Each person chooses their own, so your mother can read hers in Odia while you read yours in English, on the same connection. WHAT IT COSTS Family has no charge: you, and four people, told automatically each time you open Ok. This is the whole check-in, and it is not a trial. SIGNING IN IS OPTIONAL You can sign in with Google so that, if you lose or change your phone, signing in again brings your circle back. Continue without it and no email address is collected. WHAT OK DOES NOT DO No advertising. None, anywhere in the app. No location. Ok never asks where you are. No contacts. Your phone book is never read or uploaded. No usage tracking. There is no analytics software in Ok at all. No phone number and no real name required. The detail is in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. Ok is a check-in app, not an emergency service.
