Full description
Some tasks won't start. Not because you don't care, and not because you're lazy. The task is a wall, and the wall has no door in it. Raytime finds the door. Tell it what you're avoiding, and it asks one question first: what usually stops you here? Then it breaks the task into small steps and puts a single step in front of you. Not eight. One. If that step is still too big, say so, and it gets smaller. Then it starts a timer and you do the thing. BUILT FOR COMING BACK Raytime expects to be put down. It is built to be picked up again. Put it down for three weeks and nothing happens. No wall of missed days, no plant that died while you were gone. Open it again and it says so, clears the gap, and puts one thing in front of you. There is a streak, and it forgives a missed day. Gone longer? The streak starts again, and that is the only thing that does. The icon is a lighthouse. A lighthouse doesn't count the nights you weren't sailing. It's still on when you come back, pointing at one thing. ONE THING AT A TIME, ON PURPOSE Raytime never shows your whole day as a timeline of colourful blocks, and that isn't an oversight. Seeing everything at once is the overwhelm you were trying to get away from, and a schedule you fell behind by 10am becomes a list of things you failed at by lunchtime. So there is no grid, and no clock time on work you have not started. What you get instead is the next thing, and a shrinking disc showing time pass while you do it. IT WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL, AND IT DOESN'T MAKE YOU WAIT Breaking a task down happens on your phone, in under a second, on a plane, with no account. The steps were written and checked before they reached you, not generated while you watch a spinner. So there's nothing to wait for, and nothing that can say something strange at the moment you're least able to shrug it off. WHAT'S IN IT The one thing today. A short plan you can actually finish, ordered around your energy rather than your ambition. A door into any task: steps small enough to start. If one still feels too big, it shrinks. Cues, not clock times. "After the kettle boils, reply to the email." Plans tied to what your day already does get done. Reminders that change how they speak before you stop hearing them. A timer that shows time instead of counting it: a disc that visibly empties. Say it out loud. Talk for three minutes, get tasks. Nothing is stored as audio. Not today. Push anything off without explaining yourself. It waits in Later. Nothing is lost, nothing goes red, nothing is ever called late. Your wins. What you finished, and what you started after putting it off, which is the harder thing and the one worth counting. BUILT AROUND HOW THE DAY ACTUALLY GOES Nothing turns red. There is no "overdue". A task you moved three times is a task that needs to be smaller, and the app offers to make it smaller instead of nagging you. Reduced motion, and three levels of colour intensity, because no single palette suits every sensory system. PRIVACY Voice becomes text on your phone and the recording is gone. If your phone has no speech model of its own, you are asked before anything is sent. If you let the plan read your calendar, it looks at today's events on that phone and nothing else. Nothing is uploaded and your calendar is never changed. FREE AND PREMIUM Everything is open for your first 7 days, no card, no sign-up. Free, forever: your tasks, today's plan, focus sessions, your streak, the home screen widget, and everything you have finished. Premium adds your must-win, picked and put first, and the rest of the day ordered around your energy. Brain dumps by voice. Any task broken into steps. Reminders, dates and repeating routines. Focus soundscapes made on your phone. Your wins in full, with a card to share. And a say in what gets built next. No advertising. Nothing about you is sold.

What's new

Raytime speaks German. Not only the buttons: it listens in German, reads German dates and times, and writes its steps in German. You can switch it any time in Settings, under Language. Also fixed: the clock and battery were white on a pale page and hard to read. A day with a single task drew a long flat bar where a stone belonged.
