The service detects which app is open, blocks selected apps, and displays a blocking screen when restricted apps are launched. Focus Shield does not read screen content, record keystrokes, or monitor personal activity. All processing happens locally on the device. Accessibility permission is optional and enabled only by the user. Permissions Required Usage Access allows the app to detect running applications so selected apps can be blocked during focus sessions.
