Joseon Tower Defense: 1592

In 1592 a Japanese fleet landed at Busan. This is a tower defense built on the 28 defensive battles that followed — the walls, the mountain forts, and the sea lanes that held. You place units on fixed slots along the enemy's path and rearrange them between waves. Each slot takes different units: crossbow platforms and cannon on the walls, archers on high ground, panokseon and turtle ships on the water. Enemies run from ashigaru to cavalry, matchlock troops and atakebune, and every stage puts an enemy general on the field. ■ The crane wing Gather wing ships inside each other's aura and the crane formation completes, speeding up your guns. The first ship is a loss on its own — the board highlights the slots that would complete it. ■ Read the situation before you deploy Every battle opens with its own record: when, where, and who stood against whom.
