Full description
Wake-on-LAN and Dual Boot sound easy until you try it. On Windows you end up digging through hidden network driver properties. On Linux the setting is gone after the next reboot. WOL DualBoot Agent takes care of that for you. ⚡ THE SHORT WAY Install a small program on your PC, Windows or Linux, and enable Wake-on-LAN from its tray icon with one button. On Linux it is re-enabled on every start, so it does not slip away. Then scan a QR code from your phone and it is paired. No addresses to type, no technical values to copy. 📱 WHAT YOU CAN DO • Power the PC on while it is switched off. • Shut it down from your phone. • Restart it. • Reboot it straight into Linux or Windows, if it dual boots. • See whether it is on, and which system it is running right now. • Read the trace of every operation when something goes wrong. Switching the operating system remotely is what this app exists for. Leave the PC on Windows and boot it into Linux from wherever you are, so it is ready when you sit down. 🔧 WITHOUT INSTALLING THE AGENT It still works. Add the computer by hand with its MAC and address and wake it over Wake-on-LAN, just like any other app of this kind. In exchange, setting Wake-on-LAN up is on you, and you cannot shut the machine down or change which system it boots. 🔒 HOW IT WORKS Pairing is done by QR code and the connection is encrypted, with the agent's certificate pinned so the app only ever talks to your machine. The app runs only the actions the agent declares for that computer. Everything happens on your local network: this is not remote administration over the internet. 💎 PLANS Free: • One device. • Unlimited Wake-on-LAN. • Shutdown and restart. • Full diagnostics. • Dual boot unlocked for 24 hours by watching an ad. Pro, one-time purchase: • Unlimited devices. • Unlimited dual boot. • No ads. ✅ WHAT YOU NEED • Wake-on-LAN enabled in the BIOS/UEFI. This is the one step the agent cannot take for you. • A wired Ethernet connection. Wi-Fi is not supported in this version. • On Linux, GRUB configured if you want to switch system on reboot.

What's new

• Privacy: in the EU, UK and Switzerland the app now asks for your consent before showing a rewarded ad. You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy options, also available in US states with privacy laws. • Clearer message when the QR scanner cannot use the camera.
