Cold Plunge: Ice Bath Timer

Cold Plunge is a timer and tracker for the ice bath or cold shower habit you already have, or want to start. Time the dip, log it in seconds, keep your streak, and follow a conservative ladder that starts warm and short. Use it for a cold plunge tub, chest freezer, ice bath, cold shower, lake or cryo. The timer, log and streak work with no signal and no account. It logs what you did. It does not diagnose, treat or promise any health outcome, and it is not medical advice. PLUNGE TIMER • Count-up or count-down timer with vibration cues, so you never watch the screen • A big display you can read through steam • Cues for the first 30 seconds: shoulders under, long slow exhales, never hold your breath • A clear "get out now" prompt and safety reminders while it runs LOG EVERY DIP IN SECONDS • Temperature (°C or °F), duration and a simple 1–5 feel rating • Method: cold shower, ice bath or tub, open water, or cryo, with a realism check if a temperature looks off • Sauna and breathwork tags for the same session; add notes if you like • Unlimited entries; edit or delete any dip • Repeat your last dip, or start today's target, with one tap REWARM LOG • A 20-minute clock for the time after you get out • Mark when shivering stopped, how warm you feel, and whether you moved or took a hot shower • See your typical rewarm time, with a short note on afterdrop BUILD THE HABIT • Current and longest streak up front, plus total dips and cold minutes • Badges: first plunge, 3, 7, 14 and 30-day streaks, 10, 50 and 100 plunges, 60 total minutes • Optional plunge and streak reminders at a time you choose FOLLOW A LADDER • Two free starter protocols: a contrast shower ramp and a standard 2-minute plunge • Planned week by week, starting warm and short, with lighter deload weeks • Log against this week's target; miss a week and the plan repeats an earlier target instead of going colder ICE CALCULATOR AND SEASON CARD • Enter tub volume, the temperature now and your target to get the kilograms or pounds of ice to add • A shareable season card with your dips, minutes, coldest reading and best run INSIGHTS • Temperature and duration trends, weekly minutes and a consistency heatmap • "Is the same cold getting easier?" compares your own feel ratings at similar temperatures • Free shows a short window: your latest dips and a 14-day heatmap COLD PLUNGE PRO • AI plan builder: a conservative temperature-and-duration ladder from a few answers, re-cut from how last week felt • All 8 protocols, adding morning alertness, post-workout, tolerance blocks, breath-then-dip, sauna-and-ice rounds, advanced ice block • Full history: longer trends, a 35-day heatmap, sauna and breathwork context splits • Export your log and optional cloud backup • No ads Pro is an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase; manage or cancel anytime in Google Play. The timer, unlimited log, streak tracker, rewarm log, ice calculator and starter protocols stay free; the free version shows ads. Available in 10 languages. SAFETY - PLEASE READ Plunging carries real risks: cold shock, cardiac stress, drowning and hypothermia. Talk to a doctor before you start cold exposure, especially with a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, pregnancy, or a circulatory or respiratory condition. Start warm, keep dips short, progress slowly, and get out if you feel dizzy, numb or short of breath. Never plunge alone in open water, and never do breathing exercises in or near water. YOUR DATA Your dips, protocols and settings are stored on your device. The AI plan builder, only after you agree, sends your intake answers or a summary of recent dips (temperature, duration, feel) to our server and an AI provider; notes, name and email are not sent. Cloud backup is off until you turn it on; it then copies your dips to your account (notes only if you opt in separately), and turning it off deletes the copy. Time the dip. Build the streak. Progress the ladder.
