Bonsai Care: Tree Pruning Log

Bonsai Care is a plant tracker built for the slow timescale of bonsai. Keep a watering and pruning log for every tree, get a reminder when the next task is due, and build a growth photo timeline that shows years of shaping instead of leaving it to memory. Weeks pass between waterings, months between prunings, and years between real changes in shape. Without a record it is hard to remember what you did to which pot and when. This app keeps that history in one place, one bonsai at a time. YOUR COLLECTION • Add each bonsai with a name, species, style (formal upright, cascade, literati, windswept, forest group and more), acquired date, notes and a photo • A status on every card: overdue, due today, or the next task in N days • Open a profile in the guide and add that species straight to your collection CARE LOG • Log watering, fertilizing, pruning, wiring, repotting and growth photos as you do them, with date and notes • Scroll back through the complete history of a single tree • Attach a picture to any entry, so the record shows how the tree looked that day • Delete an entry you logged by mistake WATERING REMINDERS AND CALENDAR • Local notifications when something is due for water, feeding, a prune, wiring, repotting or a new growth photo • The Calendar tab lists every task across your collection as overdue, due today or upcoming • Overdue work stays visible in the app instead of arriving as a stale notification • Season-aware tips, with a Northern or Southern Hemisphere setting so spring really means spring where you live BONSAI SPECIES GUIDE • 40 curated profiles: pines, junipers, spruce, yew, Japanese maple, trident maple, Chinese elm, zelkova, hornbeam, ginkgo, ficus, jade, Fukien tea, bougainvillea, azalea, camellia, olive, pomegranate and more • For each one: light, how often to water, soil, fertilizer cycle, pruning by season, when to wire, how often to repot, common problems with cause and fix, and a hobbyist tip • Filter by family (conifer, deciduous, tropical, flowering, fruiting) and see difficulty and indoor or outdoor at a glance GROWTH PHOTO TIMELINE • Add a photo after each session or each season and watch the design develop • Put two photos side by side in a before and after view (Pro) FREE AND PRO Free: • Up to 5 trees • Full care log, growth photo timeline, calendar and the species guide • Reminders on general intervals • Includes ads Bonsai Care Pro: • Unlimited trees • AI seasonal care plans for each tree: watering, fertilizing, pruning, wiring, repotting and tips for its species, the current season and your hemisphere • Reminder timing tuned to the species instead of general intervals • Before and after photo comparison • No ads Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage them in your Google Play account. WHO IT IS FOR • Beginners with a first juniper or ficus who want to learn what it needs • Growing collections where each pot has its own watering and pruning rhythm • Anyone who wants to see real progress in photos rather than rely on memory MORE • Available in English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish and Chinese • Light, dark and automatic themes • Start as a guest; sign in to keep your collection with your account A note on advice: the guide and AI plans give general reference, not a replacement for hands-on instruction.
