cocaa

Cocaa is a social media App for the African/Caribbean community across the globe, to network in a safe place free from biased censorship, account blocking and unchallenged racial abuse. The concept behind the App is to create a safe social media space for all African and Caribbean people to discuss important issues that affect our community. This platform will be used to share information, learn and educate, converse and network. We are a non-profit organization focused on the development of our people and believe that the time is ready for us to start to rebuild our communities for ourselves by ourselves. View post feeds through different styles. The main activity feed will show post's from the entire community Hit connections to see post's from those you care about the most (only those you are connected with will show up in this feed so Invite friends and family to grow your connections) Hit Likes to see who has been liking your posts. Hit groups to see posts only from those that are in groups you’re a member of. Hit mentions to see who has mentioned you in a post. Hit Following to see post's from those that you are following. GROUPS AND FORUMS Join or create groups to network with your friends and families and share information on topics of your choice. Groups can be public, private or hidden for exclusivity. Create Forums for discussions within your groups, and as group creator you can completely manage & moderate your group and forum discussions. BLOGS Check out the Blog section to see news covering all aspects of daily life from Arts to Black History. Soon there will be a feature to upload your own blogs to the App through the website. It will be available to enable the community to display positive news in the community. Change the narrative of seeing the negative elements of life in our communities, and highlight the champions and unseen heroes doing good in the community. We also operate a DIRECTORY making a vast amount of resources available to the community. Search for Healthcare organizations, from independent doctors to nutritionist and personal trainers. Search for Social care organizations, from online tutors, councilors and homecare workers. Search for Legal organizations. Search for Business Services, from mechanics to catering. Search for business retailers selling anything from candles to paintings. The Directory is also a great place to advertise your business or service as it is totally FREE. The added incentive, which is unique to our platform, we do not need to rely on SEO to appear on page 1 of google searches as your whole AUDIENCE is already on the platform as cocaa members, who are one click away from the directory, and your business or service.
