Culture Clockwork

Culture Clockwork is a practical offline companion for home vegetable fermentation. Start and monitor active batches, calculate salt by total ingredient weight, log quick daily checks, and learn what healthy fermentation looks and smells like. The Today view highlights jars approaching their first taste date. Each batch keeps its ferment type, start date, target day, preparation note, progress, and check-in count together. The brine calculator turns vegetable weight, added water, and your chosen percentage into a precise salt amount. Daily Checks gives every active jar a simple inspection rhythm for submersion, aroma, and pressure. The built-in field guide contains concise references covering salt ratios, temperature, clean handling, pressure, normal cloudiness, surface yeast, cold storage, and clear discard signs. Everything works locally on your device. Culture Clockwork includes useful starter batches, supports creating and removing your own batches, and updates timing automatically—so you can spend less time guessing and more time making repeatable ferments.
