As app developers, we develop apps for a better way of working. I have been working with the Melbourne taxi industry since 2002. Recently, there are lots of drivers facing difficulties due to device breakdowns, such as taxi meters broken down due to various factors such as electrical issues, or GPS poor connectivity etc. Most of the time, service centres are closed on the weekends as well as after hours, and you are unable to work. On the other hand, there are lots of independent drivers who are not linked with any specific company, so there are lots of factors to get things done as quickly as possible, and that means losing income. And also nowadays, there are services called appointment only, and it is hard for the taxi industry as we are losing incomes until we get the appointment to fix the meter. Most of you know all those factors, and a few of you may have been through and that’s why we have developed the Taxi Meter Melbourne for use it as a taxi meter when the taxi meter device is broken down. We are not a taxi company or network or devices suppliers. But we are here to make things convenient and to help with better working conditions.
