eCitation is a mobile application for law enforcement to create, manage, and issue electronic citations in the field. The app supports structured data entry, search, and status tracking from draft through submission. Capabilities Citation creation across person, vehicle, violation, and related information. Search for existing citations and status tracking (including draft, pending, and submitted states where applicable). Location via GPS to document where a citation is issued. QR code scanning and OCR where supported, with manual entry as an alternative. Multi-step workflows with draft data retained when moving between screens. Secure sign-in for authorized users. Audience eCitation is intended for officers and agencies that issue electronic citations. Accounts, connectivity, and organizational requirements are defined by the deploying agency. Permissions Location is used in line with the in-app prompts to record citation-related location. Camera access may be used for scanning and related image features, subject to device settings and agency policy.
