CineCrop

CineCrop: The Purist's Tool for Photography CineCrop is a precision framing utility built specifically for mobile cinematographers and mirrorless camera enthusiasts. If you shoot straight-from-camera images (like Fujifilm film simulations) and want to give your photos a cinematic look without ruining the file quality, CineCrop is the only tool you need. Unlike standard photo editors that degrade your image quality by re-compressing the file every time you save, CineCrop guarantees zero generation loss, no unnecessary downscaling, and perfectly preserved pixels. PRESERVE YOUR PRECIOUS EXIF DATA Most apps strip away your hard-earned metadata when you export. CineCrop ensures your metadata remains completely intact. Your camera make, lens focal length, exposure values, GPS tags, and even your proprietary maker notes (like your custom film simulation recipes) carry over perfectly to your final cropped image. ICONIC CINEMATIC ASPECT RATIOS Stop guessing your crop dimensions. CineCrop features a curated, locked-ratio catalog of the most legendary formats in film and photography history: • XPan (2.40:1) - The legendary dual-format panoramic look. • IMAX 70MM (1.43:1) - Tall, immersive, and grand. • CinemaScope (2.39:1) - The modern theatrical anamorphic standard. • Academy (1.37:1) - Classic, vintage Hollywood framing. • Square (1:1) - Classic medium format Rolleiflex / Hasselblad 500C. • ...and many more including Standard 16:9, Theatrical 1.85:1, and Univisium 2:1. BUILT FOR THE CREATIVE WORKFLOW • Instant Orientation Toggle: Flip any aspect ratio from landscape to portrait with a single tap for vertical compositions. • Dynamic FOV Intelligence: CineCrop dynamically reads your original image data to calculate and display your exact 35mm full-frame equivalent field of view. • OLED Optimized: A completely true-black UI (#000000) that saves your battery and eliminates distractions so you can focus entirely on composition. • Seamless Compatibility: Fully supports both high-quality JPEGs and high-efficiency HEIC formats from modern smartphones. 100% PRIVATE, LOCAL, & AD-FREE Your photos belong to you. CineCrop operates entirely offline on your device. There is no cloud processing, no data collection, no accounts to create, and absolutely no ads to interrupt your creative flow. Frame your visual story exactly how the director intended. No filters, no sliders, no nonsense—just pristine cinematic framing.
