Make a retro game by talking to AI, then play and share it on your phone. Chip Toy builds real Game Boy Color, Game Boy and NES ROMs. Ask for a space shooter, a platformer, a puzzle, or a change to the game you already made. Play each saved version with a touch gamepad, keep your saves across devices, and share a short link that anyone can play. TWO WAYS TO CREATE • Connect your own AI chat app, such as ChatGPT or Claude, through Chip Toy's MCP connector. Your chat app uses your own plan; Chip Toy does not charge model credits for this connection. • Use Code Buddy inside Chip Toy. Choose a model and ask it to build or improve your game. Code Buddy uses credits, with the cost shown in the conversation. The request screen names the AI processing services and explains how your conversation, game source and screenshots are used to generate replies. PLAY AND SHARE • A touch gamepad made for phones, with native button haptics • Online play for games made with multiplayer support • Every saved version kept so you can return to earlier builds • Private, shared-link or public games; choose whether to show the source • Download your game's ROM or source Sign in with Google to keep your games. Shared game links also play without signing in. Chip Toy is free with ads. Optional consumable Code Buddy credit packs add credits to your account. Purchased credits do not expire and work on your other devices when signed in with the same Chip Toy account. Credit packs are not subscriptions. Chip Toy Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription with weekly, monthly or yearly plans. Pro removes ads and the daily download limit, and includes 2,000 Code Buddy credits per 7-day period. A period starts when you first use Code Buddy while Pro is active. Unused weekly credits expire without rollover; purchased wallet credits cover usage after weekly credits run out.
