ANIMATED CAPTURE FIGHTS In this fantasy chess game a capture is a fight. The five kingdoms stage every capture as a short animated battle: a charge, a pounce, a dive, a duel. Stylised, never gory. Watch every fight, only the important ones, or turn them off, and tap to fast-forward any animation. CHESS VS COMPUTER: TEN AI LEVELS • From Novice, still learning the moves, to Legend, full strength with no deliberate mistakes. • Three playing styles for the AI: Balanced, Aggressive and Defensive. • Hints when you are stuck, undo with an animated rewind, resign, or offer the computer a draw. REAL CHESS, EVERY RULE • Castling, en passant, promotion, check, checkmate, stalemate, threefold repetition, the fifty-move rule and insufficient material. • A full move list in standard notation, and a review of every finished game, move by move. • Game history with your wins, draws and losses per level. Share a game as PGN or a position as FEN. • Know Your Army shows each piece on a 3D turntable with an animated diagram of how it moves, so new players learn the board as they play.
