Chess GM Champion is a complete chess trainer that lives entirely on your phone. Play the open-source Stockfish engine — one of the strongest chess engines in the world — at a strength that matches you, and learn from every game. No sign-up, no ads, no internet required. START IN ONE TAP - One question when you first open the app: how well do you play? Your answer sets the level, so your first game is neither a massacre nor a snooze. - Never played before? You begin on a beginner ladder against a lone king and add pieces back one rung at a time. - Your rating stays hidden as "Unrated" for five warm-up games, so the first number you see is one worth trusting. PLAY YOUR WAY - Nine difficulty levels, from first-game friendly (about 600 Elo) up to the full grandmaster-level strength of the Stockfish engine. - Pass and play: two people, one phone, no engine in the way. - Choose your color, time control, board theme and piece set. Kid mode with gentler coaching included. - Set up any position in the board editor and play or study from there.
