Full description
A running order is the easy half. The changes between the acts are what overrun the house. Foolat Isle is the callboard where both get settled before the doors open. 1. Pin the acts. Fourteen are on file — teeterboard, aerial hoop, static trapeze, silks, slack and tight wire, cyr wheel, rola bola, clubs, unicycle, balancing canes, globe, cannon and a clown entree — each carrying its run time ⏱️, its set and strike crew-seconds, its rigging need and the width it has to come through the door. Pin them down the board and the running total 💯 keeps itself. 2. Call each change. Between every pair of battens Foolat Isle opens the change and works it out: strike seconds plus set seconds, less whatever the crew can run in parallel, plus the transit from the door, divided by the hands you actually have. Choose the cue that covers it — band play ▶️-off, entree in front of the curtain, blackout, tab curtain, or a change in view — and the verdict comes back clean 🧼, or hot by the seconds it is over. 3. Set the ring. Ten items of ring kit stand on a ground plan 🗺️ of the ring and its four doors. Drag ✋ a prop to where it lands and the travel ✈️ feeds straight back into the change that calls it. Photograph the set as it should stand and the shot files against that change, for the crew to match on the night. 4. Read the whole show. Foolat Isle measures both halves against the house target 🎯 and flags what the board cannot run: rig points clashing between adjacent acts, a turnaround shorter than the costume change, apparatus wider than the door it comes through, two aerial acts back to back, a ninety-second change with nothing to cover it. 5. Call the sheet up. The board lays out as a narrow call sheet strip — acts numbered down it, every change with its crew call, its cue and its verdict, both half totals at the foot — and you set what goes on it: crew calls, cue names, a small ring plan 🗺️ at its foot. File the finished board onto the rail and Foolat Isle hangs it there with its run time ⏱️ and its batten count, to call straight back up on the night. Set the house crew, the door widths, the target 🎯 run and the interval, and every figure Foolat Isle prints answers to them. It all works on the device 📱, offline 📴, start 🚀 to finish.
