WalkBuddy: Step Counter & Walk

Meet your WalkBuddy — a virtual walking companion that paces right alongside you. He walks at the perfect rhythm for your goal, and your job is simple: keep up. **Your buddy, your pace** WalkBuddy is a step counter that actually shows you what the right pace feels like. No more guessing if 8,000 steps is enough — your buddy walks at the optimal rhythm for your specific goal, whether that's losing weight, building a walking habit, or prepping for a hike. **How it works** Set your goal and profile (age, weight, target) — takes 10 seconds. Your buddy appears on the track, walking at the perfect pace for you. Start walking, and your silhouette joins him on the track. Fall behind? Your buddy slows down and cheers you on. Pulling ahead? He speeds up to challenge you. **The killer feature: a living pace guide** This isn't a dashboard with numbers. It's a character on your screen that shows you the optimal rhythm through movement. You see the gap. You feel the pace. You adjust in real time. Over the day, your buddy gets stronger or tired depending on how closely you matched the rhythm — come back tomorrow to level him up. **Free vs Premium** Free: Your buddy walks at a fixed optimal pace based on your goal. You see the gap, you adjust, you track progress. History stored locally. Premium: Your buddy becomes a living coach. He adapts to your patterns — learns your tired days, your strong days, your missed sessions. He adjusts the rhythm in real time and tells you exactly what pace you need tomorrow to hit your goal on schedule. "Slow down 10% today, you overdid it yesterday." **Why WalkBuddy?** - Step counter with real-time pace matching - Visual feedback — see the gap, not just numbers - Buddy gets stronger or tired based on your consistency - Perfect for walking for weight loss, habit building, or hike prep - No GPS needed — just your phone's step sensor - Local history — your data stays on your device **Start walking with your buddy today** Set your goal, meet your buddy, and take your first steps together.
