ChefSnap

ChefSnap is a cookbook you watch rather than read, with a calorie diary built into the same app. BROWSE 1,854 DISHES FROM 80 CUISINES Every dish comes with real cooking videos, its ingredients, its method and its calories. Search by dish, by cuisine or by an ingredient you already have. Filters work in both directions: start from Egypt and narrow to chicken, or start from chicken and narrow to Egypt. WATCH BEFORE YOU COOK Tap Watch on any dish and the video plays immediately, inside the app. No hunting, no leaving for another app, no adverts before the food. COOK FROM WHAT IS IN THE KITCHEN Tell ChefSnap which ingredients you have and it shows what you can actually make tonight. A CALORIE AND WEIGHT DIARY THAT IS NOT A CHORE Type-ahead food search across hundreds of foods, each with its own picture and its calories, protein, carbohydrate and fat. Pick real portions - one banana, one slice, one glass - instead of weighing everything. Anything you log once comes back at the top, so the second time takes one tap. Cooked something from ChefSnap? Log it straight from the recipe. The app already knows what a serving costs you, so it asks only which meal and how much. SEE THE TWO NUMBERS TOGETHER Calories and weight are drawn one above the other on the same dates. Eating less shows up on the scales weeks later, not days, and the point of putting them together is to see that lag rather than judge a single day. EIGHT LANGUAGES English, Arabic, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch and Japanese - recipes, ingredients, steps and the food diary, not just the buttons. NO ACCOUNT. NO ADVERTS. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to subscribe to. Your diary and your weight stay on your phone.
