Check Scanner is a staff tool for check-cashing businesses. Photograph a check at the counter and know within seconds whether it is safe to cash before any money changes hands. IMPORTANT: This app requires an account provided by your employer. The app reads the MICR line, amount, issue date, and the name on the check, then checks it against every check your business has cashed across all of your locations, not just the branch you are standing in. You get a clear verdict: • Green — nothing unusual found • Amber — something to look at before proceeding • Red — stop, and do not cash FRAUD CHECKS • Stale-dated and post-dated checks are flagged automatically • High-value checks trigger a mandatory ID confirmation step • Blacklisted accounts fire a critical alert at every one of your locations • Missing signatures are caught before the check is accepted • Prior checks on the same account appear side by side, with photos, so your clerk can compare them directly SHARED HISTORY ACROSS LOCATIONS A check refused at one branch is recognized at every other branch, Blacklist entries are shared the same way.
