ChaseDown — Solve the City

THE CITY IS YOUR CRIME SCENE. ChaseDown is a location-based spy thriller played on real streets. Every Monday, a new case lands on your desk: a noir story, eight riddles, eight real places in your city. Solve the riddle, walk to the scene, and the next fragment unlocks when you physically arrive. Your time goes on the city ledger. One attempt. One winner. A NEW CASE EVERY MONDAY Every case is written for your city — real landmarks, real alleys, real history, wrapped in an original noir story. The clock only runs while you're in the field, and it starts the moment you reach the first scene, so every agent races the same route on equal terms. THE CITY FIGHTS BACK You are not alone out there. The Opposition works every case: • PATROLS sweep the streets — get caught inside one and your clock bleeds. Stand still, act natural, let them pass. • WATCHERS hold certain scenes — pay them off, take the time penalty, or wait out their shift. • TAMPERED SCENES corrupt your intel — restore the file, or press on with half the story. INK IS YOUR ONLY CURRENCY No coins, no gems, no store. Ink buys hints, restores tampered evidence, and calls off watchers. You carry three bottles into a case, and the only way to earn more is to close cases — cleanly. Every bottle spent is a second saved. Every bottle saved is a cleaner file. FOUR COVERS Choose your cover before every case. Each is one navigation tool and one counter-craft: • THE ANALYST — Recon Ring + Early Warning. Reads the ground first. • THE ARCHIVIST — Compass + free Restoration. Undoes the city's damage. • THE HUNTER — Hot/Cold + Patrol Sense. Sees the Opposition's routes. • THE GHOST — Range Finder + The Slip. Walks past a watcher, once, clean. New covers open as you close cases. THE BETRAYAL Once per case, you can sell out another agent working the same file. Their next scene falls under permanent watch. They'll know someone talked. They won't know who — unless they're a Ghost. CLIMB THE LEDGER City, country, and global leaderboards, ranked purely by time. Per-clue splits against the field's best. Commendations stamped onto your credential: Clean Run, Night Op, First Blood. Service ranks from Recruit to Spymaster. MISSED A WEEK? OPEN A COLD CASE. Expired cases move to the archive — replay them any time, unranked, chasing your personal best. BUILT LIKE A CASE FILE No neon dashboards. ChaseDown looks the way a spy thriller should: manila folders, typewritten intel, rubber stamps, redaction bars you scrub away with your finger, and a telex that hammers out HQ transmissions. Day and night, the desk follows your city's real sunset. PRIVACY, PLAINLY Your location is used to unlock scenes during an active case, and it is never shown to other players. Ever. Full policy: https://chasedown-2af8e.web.app/privacy.html Playing outdoors means real streets: stay aware of your surroundings, don't trespass, and never play while driving. The first transmission drops in Tel Aviv. Your city is next. CHASEDOWN — every city keeps its secrets.
