Merak

Merak is a warm, flexible home for everything you want to do, try, learn, visit or build. Save a café you want to visit, a new recipe, a weekend plan, a skill you want to learn, a creative project or even a bigger ambition. Merak helps you keep these ideas close without turning them into deadlines, streaks or another demanding task list. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Save places, experiences and longer pursuits • Find places using map search or add ideas manually • Organise ideas into categories and optional lists • Add smaller parts to explore within an idea • Track meaningful milestones for longer pursuits • Associate plans with people you want to share them with • Search and filter by type, category, place or person • Browse location-based ideas on a map • Mark an idea as lived when the moment happens • Add up to three photos to preserve the memory • Revisit completed ideas with their date and time • Create beautiful scrapbook images from selected memories MADE FOR YOUR PACE Merak is not about clearing a list as quickly as possible. There are no streaks, scores or overdue warnings. An idea can stay simple, grow into a detailed plan or wait quietly until the moment feels right. FROM IDEAS TO MEMORIES When you finally do something, mark it as lived. Add a photo if you want, or keep the memory without one. Merak records when it happened and preserves the result as a read-only memory connected to the original idea. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your core ideas and memories are stored in the app’s private storage on your device. Merak does not contain advertising or behavioural tracking SDKs and does not sell your personal information. Some optional features, including place search and maps, use internet services when you choose them.
