PulseEdge turns the edge of your screen into a light show that moves with your music — and turns your lock screen into a fully customizable Always-On-Display. EDGE LIGHTING FOR YOUR MUSIC Pick an edge lighting effect from four styles — Lines, Particles, Lights, and Waves — choose a color palette, then decide where it shows: over other apps while you listen, on your Always-On-Display while music plays, or on your Always-On-Display when a notification arrives. Every effect wraps all four edges of your screen, and every parameter — direction, thickness, spread, length, speed, and reactivity — is on screen at once, so you always see the whole picture while you tune it. PulseEdge reads the currently playing track from your music app to show the title, artist, and cover art, and reads the volume level of the audio already playing through your speaker or headphones to drive the animation — it never records, stores, or sends your audio anywhere. When it can't read a source, a Random Mode keeps the lights moving. YOUR OWN ALWAYS-ON-DISPLAY Choose from a growing set of Always-On-Display designs, then customize the clock size and color, date color, and control color to match. Add a background from the built-in set or crop in your own photo, decide how notifications and the battery level appear, and pick when it shows: always, only while charging, or only while music is playing. Dismiss it with a double-tap, a single tap, or a touch of the fingerprint sensor — PulseEdge only reads the touch event, never your fingerprint data. This Always-On-Display is drawn by PulseEdge itself on your lock screen — not your phone's built-in hardware AOD — so it works even on phones that don't have one, and it switches off automatically to protect your battery and your screen. COLOR PALETTES FROM YOUR ALBUM ART Turn on "Auto album colours" and PulseEdge pulls a palette straight from whatever's playing, or explore and save palettes by hand with the built-in color wheel and hex input. CHOOSE WHERE IT SHOWS Pick exactly which apps show the edge overlay, dim the background behind it, and keep the screen awake while it runs — or pause everything automatically during a phone call. WHAT PERMISSIONS ARE FOR - Display over other apps: draws the edge glow on top of whatever app you're using. - Notification access: reads the current media session so PulseEdge can show the playing track and a notification dot on your Always-On-Display — notification content itself is never stored or sent anywhere. - Usage access and app list: detects which app is in the foreground and lists your installed apps, so you can choose exactly which apps show the effect. - Microphone: reads only the volume level of audio already playing on your device to drive the animation — audio is never recorded or saved. - PulseEdge keeps a visible notification while it runs in the background, so the effect and your Always-On-Display keep working while you use other apps.
