CattleGo

CattleGo keeps the records of a cow-calf ranch: calving, breeding and preg checks, treatments and withdrawal, weights, pastures, groups, tasks, and costs. Use it on your phone at the chute or on your computer in the office. It works offline without an internet connection and syncs automatically when you are back online, so everyone on the ranch sees the same herd information. HERD AND ANIMAL RECORDS Every animal has its own page with a full timeline of what has happened to it: calvings, breeding, heat, preg checks, treatments, weights, weaning, moves between pastures, purchases, sales, retags and notes. Add photos and attachments, search by tag, EID or name, and use smart groups to pull up exactly the animals you need. Records are never overwritten, so you can always see the history behind a change. CALVING SEASON The calving board shows cows in labor, overdue cows, and who is due soon. Record the calf, its birth details and any graft in a few taps. Preg check results and breeding dates feed the board automatically, and a season plan keeps the key dates for the year in one place. AT THE CHUTE Chute sessions let you work through a set of animals quickly: weigh, treat, preg check or move, one animal after another, with a summary at the end. Large buttons and a layout built for one-handed use make it practical in the corral. Import scale weights from a CSV file and review performance afterwards. HEALTH AND WITHDRAWAL Save treatment and vaccination protocols once and reuse them. CattleGo tracks withdrawal periods, shows which animals are still in withdrawal, and reminds you when boosters are due, so nothing is shipped or sold too early. PASTURES See what is in each pasture, how long it has been grazed, and which fields need a move. Move groups of animals between pastures in one step and keep a grazing calendar for the whole ranch. TASKS AND CALENDAR Plan work on a calendar with week and month views, assign tasks to animals, pastures or groups, postpone what slips, and use the shipping check before animals leave. Export the calendar to your own calendar app. REPORTS, HEIFERS AND COSTS Review reports on cull candidates, preconditioning and herd scorecards, and follow your replacement heifers through development. Record expenses and income, with receipts attached, to see what your cattle really cost. IMPORT AND EXPORT Bring your existing records over from CattleMax, and export your data as CSV when you need it elsewhere, including a feedlot export for animals you are selling. WORKS ON ALL YOUR DEVICES Designed for iPhone and iPad, with a layout that fits the screen and tabs at the bottom for the places you use most. Changes made offline are saved on your device and sent to the cloud when a connection returns. Your ranch's data is kept separate from every other ranch. Sign up in a minute, add your herd, and start recording. CattleGo gives a small cow-calf ranch the tools to know every animal, plan every season and make better decisions.
