Full description
CaseClock is the billing intelligence layer for lawyers and law firms. Tell it what you did. It prepares the billing record, learns how you work, finds work you may have missed, and sends approved time to the software your firm already uses. You stay in control of every entry. This app is the mobile companion for authorized users of a CaseClock workspace. It is free to install. Firms set up their workspace in the CaseClock web app. WHY CASECLOCK Legal work happens in calls, meetings, emails, documents and court. The billing record usually gets written later, from memory. Most AI timekeeping tools try to rebuild that record by watching what a lawyer does. CaseClock starts with your own account of the work, does the administrative work around it, and uses activity evidence to find what may have been missed. Every step is visible, and the billing judgment stays with you. SAY WHAT YOU DID Tap Record and describe the work in your own words, right after the call, the hearing or the drafting session. CaseClock transcribes it and drafts the entry: the client and matter from your firm's list, the date, the time and a clear description. On matters that need UTBMS codes, it suggests the task and activity codes for you to confirm or change. EDIT BY VOICE OR BY HAND Open an entry, tap the microphone and say what to change. CaseClock applies the change and hands the entry back for your review, with Undo. Or edit any field directly. If CaseClock heard a name it does not recognize, it suggests the closest match from your firm's list for you to accept or dismiss. IT LEARNS HOW YOU WORK CaseClock remembers the spellings of client and people names, how you like descriptions written and your billing habits, and applies them to every new draft. It learns from the changes you make, tells you when it has learned something, and lets you undo it. A memory can apply to all of your work or to one client or matter. In the web app you can see what each entry used from memory, edit what CaseClock remembers, or switch memory off. FIND THE WORK WITH NO TIME ENTRY YET Connect Microsoft 365 in the web app and the Reconcile tab lists calendar events, Teams meetings, emails and OneDrive files that have no time entry yet, with an estimate of the work found and how many matters it spans. - Each item is checked against time already recorded in CaseClock and, when connected, Clio. - Items are matched to a client and matter using your matter list, your contacts and what CaseClock has learned from your earlier decisions. - Every item shows a confidence level and a plain reason. When CaseClock is unsure, it says so rather than guessing. - You decide: create a draft, mark it already captured, mark it not billable, or set it aside. CaseClock never invents a duration. The first run reviews the last 30 days, and you can look further back 30 days at a time. By default CaseClock reads subjects, times and participants, not the contents. NOTHING GOES OUT UNTIL YOU APPROVE Every entry stays a draft until you approve it. Approve and send to Clio in one step, or download approved time as a CSV for your billing program. An entry that cannot be sent says why. ONE WORKFLOW, EVERY DEVICE Capture on your phone, from your desk with the CaseClock desktop app for Mac and Windows, or in the web app. Your entries, clients, matters and memory are the same everywhere. REGIONAL DATA SECURITY CaseClock runs on Microsoft Azure. Data is stored in the customer's region. To provide AI features, data may be processed on Microsoft Azure servers outside the customer's region. Recording starts only when you tap Record, and Microsoft 365 is read only after it is connected. CaseClock does not provide legal advice. Lawyers remain responsible for reviewing and approving their time entries.

What's new

Recordings made without a connection are saved on the phone and upload when you are back online, including after the app is closed. Approve or combine several selected entries at once from Entries. Send to Clio names any entry it has to hold back and says why. Reconcile and Entries keep their controls when offline and say what is unavailable. The Reconcile found panel opens and closes like the web app's. Recordings are kept out of device backup.
