String Tension

String Tension is an offline-first bench app for club and shop stringers who finish one named restring at a time. Every job is a precise string-bed card—so tension, pattern, string, and pickup never get mixed between racquets. Cold start opens the fullscreen string-bed: a live mains × crosses grid sized to the active racquet’s pattern (16×18, 16×19, 18×20, hybrid, and more). Per-side tension callouts, gauge and string-type chips, and a customer/pickup strip stay visible while you work. Dial mains and crosses with a lbs/kg toggle, lock-to-same option, and quick ±0.5 / ±1.0 steppers. Tap weave progress on each string path as you go. Move the job along the status rail: Queued → Mounted → Mains done → Crosses done → Knotted → Ready → Picked up. Racquet header captures model, head size, skip-grommet notes, and recommended pattern presets. String identity strip covers brand, model, gauge chips 15–18 (including L), and mono/multi/hybrid mains-vs-crosses pairing. Customer strip holds name, phone note (typed only), promised pickup date/time, and a ready-for-pickup flag. Local reel inventory tracks leftover meters per reel, auto-deducts typical mains/crosses usage when a job completes, and shows a low-stock badge when you need to reorder. Customer tension memory keeps the last three jobs per customer/racquet pair for one-tap re-string at prior specs. Job archive filters by date, racquet model, or string type; reopen any past card as a new job clone. A seed library of common racquet patterns and popular polyester and multifilament SKUs makes first-run demos instant. No generic notes list. No cloud required.
