CareVieo is the mobile companion to the CareVieo home care platform. Caregivers, care coordinators, and family members use it to run and follow day-to-day care — schedules, visits, documentation, and communication — from one secure app. Access requires an account provided by your home care agency. CareVieo is not a consumer marketplace and does not offer care services directly. FOR CAREGIVERS • See your upcoming shifts, schedule changes, and open shifts you can claim • Clock in and clock out with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), including location capture at the visit address • Work offline — visits, notes, and punches queue on the device and sync automatically when you reconnect • Record visit notes by voice and have them transcribed and cleaned up for you • Complete care plan tasks and required visit documentation • Upload and track credentials, licenses, and training certificates • Complete assigned training modules and track your progress • Set work preferences — shift windows and the counties you're available to serve • Message your coordinator and care team securely FOR CARE COORDINATORS AND OFFICE STAFF • Monitor live visit status: scheduled, in progress, completed, and missed • Fill open shifts and assign caregivers from scheduling templates • Review and correct punches, including missed punches • Track caregiver onboarding, credential expirations, and compliance gaps • Onboard clients, manage referrals, and maintain care plans • Review timesheets and move visits through to billing • Reach the whole care team from one secure inbox FOR FAMILY MEMBERS • See when a caregiver is scheduled, on the way, and checked in • Read approved visit summaries and care updates • Message the agency through a supervised, agency-moderated channel BUILT FOR COMPLIANCE • Designed to support HIPAA compliance, with encryption in transit and at rest • Role-based access control — users only see the clients and data their role permits • Multi-factor authentication, including authenticator app and email verification • Immutable audit logging of access to protected health information • EVV capture designed to align with 21st Century Cures Act requirements INTEGRATIONS CareVieo connects with the systems agencies already run on, including payroll, accounting, and billing platforms, so visit data flows through to pay and invoices without rekeying. PERMISSIONS AND WHY WE ASK • Location — used to verify that a caregiver is at the client's address at clock-in and clock-out, as required for EVV. Background location, when enabled by the agency, is used only during an active shift. • Camera and photos — used to capture credential documents, profile photos, and visit-related images. • Notifications — used for shift reminders, schedule changes, and care team messages. • Biometrics — optional, used to unlock the app faster on your device.
