CareerCoach is an offline AI resume builder and career coach that runs entirely on your phone. Paste or upload a job description, talk it through with an AI coach, and get a tailored resume and cover letter you can export as PDFs - with no account, no sign-up, and nothing uploaded to a server. Available in 14 languages. The coach replies in whichever language you write in. WHY A PRIVATE, ON-DEVICE RESUME BUILDER Most AI resume apps and CV makers send your resume, your work history and the jobs you apply for to a server you do not control. CareerCoach does not have one. The coaching model - Google's Gemma - runs on your phone, so your resume, your job posts and every word of your conversation stay local. Once the model is downloaded, the coaching works in airplane mode. WHAT YOU CAN DO 1. UNDERSTAND THE JOB DESCRIPTION Upload a job post as PDF, DOCX or TXT, or paste the text. CareerCoach reads it on your device and gives you a plain-language read of what the role is really asking for. 2. BUILD A TAILORED RESUME WITH AN AI CAREER COACH Chat with a coach that asks the follow-up questions a good recruiter would: what you did, what it changed, and what numbers you can put on it. As you talk, CareerCoach - tracks a live resume completeness score, - flags gaps between your experience and the job description, - rewrites your bullet points around the role you are targeting, - shows a formatted resume preview that updates as you go, - exports the finished resume to PDF. 3. GET A COVER LETTER FOR THE JOB While you chat, CareerCoach writes a cover letter for the role from your resume. Read it beside your resume, copy it into an application form, or export it as a matching PDF. 4. START FROM THE RESUME YOU HAVE Attach an existing resume or CV and the coach works from it instead of a blank page. 5. WORK IN YOUR LANGUAGE Use the app in English, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian or Spanish. Chat with the coach in your language and your resume and cover letter follow it. WHO IT IS FOR - Job seekers tailoring a resume and cover letter to each application - Career changers translating their experience into a new field's language - Anyone who wants AI resume help without handing their work history to a cloud service PRIVACY BY DESIGN - No account, no sign-up, no email address - Job posts, resumes and conversations are never uploaded - Everything is stored only on your phone - Works offline after the one-time model download WHAT YOU NEED CareerCoach runs a real language model on your phone, so it needs a capable device: - Android 13 or newer - A 64-bit (arm64) phone with at least 6 GB of RAM - 6 GB of free storage The GPU is used when your phone supports it; otherwise the model runs on the CPU, more slowly. The app checks your device first and tells you plainly if it cannot run the model. The model is a one-time download of about 2.6 GB on first launch (Wi-Fi recommended). COMING IN A FUTURE UPDATE Spoken HR phone-screen practice and a final interview round with feedback on your answers. Neither is available yet. CareerCoach is free and shows ads (banner and interstitial). The internet is used only for the model download and ads - never for your job posts, resume or conversations.
