Fabric Messages is a protected texting app for kids that keeps everyday communication simple while helping families handle unknown or concerning contacts. When Fabric Messages is set as the default SMS app, trusted conversations stay open, limited contacts follow family time budgets, and blocked conversations stay hidden. New or unknown senders can wait for parent review, depending on your family’s settings. With Fabric Messages, kids can: - Text trusted contacts - Ask a parent to approve a new contact or group message - Report contacts that feel concerning Fabric is privacy-first by design. Any data that is sent to our servers are end-to-end encrypted, and sensitive request context is only sent when the app clearly tells the child what will be shared with a parent. Requires a paid subscription to the Fabric Parent app for pairing.
