CalmDown - Audio Monitor

Take control of your environment and emotional well-being with CalmDown. CalmDown is a privacy-first utility app designed to help you monitor ambient noise levels and recognize when things are getting too loud. Whether you are trying to regulate your own volume, manage sensory overload in a busy environment, or just stay aware of your surroundings, CalmDown provides real-time, objective feedback right from your phone. Key Features: • REAL-TIME DECIBEL MONITORING: See the exact noise level of your environment on a clean, responsive audiometer. • NO AUDIO RECORDED: Your privacy is our priority. CalmDown processes audio locally on your device to extract a decibel number and immediately discards the sound. No recordings are ever saved, sent to our servers, or shared. • CUSTOM ALERTS: Set your own personal decibel thresholds and continuous noise durations. If the noise exceeds your limit for too long, the app will gently notify you. • HAPTIC & VISUAL FEEDBACK: Get instant physical and visual cues (vibrations and screen flashes) when thresholds are broken, bringing you back to the present moment. • INSIGHT CHARTS: Review your weekly incident history and track your progress over time with easy-to-read statistics. • SHARE PROGRESS: Easily share your weekly improvement charts with friends, family, or partners securely through your own messaging apps. • DYNAMIC BREATHING: A built-in calming animation helps you re-center and slow your breathing during stressful moments. Manage your environment, track your progress, and find your calm. Download CalmDown today.
