Transom Hours

Transom Hours is an offline-first outboard engine service sheet for boat owners who run one named engine at a time. Cold start opens a fullscreen marine hour-meter bound to your active outboard—built for trailered skiffs and small center-consoles. See total engine hours plus live countdowns to every major service on one surface. Segmented arcs and per-item chips track impeller, gear oil, spark plugs, anodes, fuel filter, and freshwater flush, showing remaining engine hours and calendar months. Colors shift from ready to due to overdue so nothing slips past the next launch. Log hours after each trip with an optional note and date. Totals and all interval clocks advance together. When you finish a job, mark impeller, gear oil, plugs, anodes, filter, or flush complete, capture hours-at-service and date, and reset that interval from manufacturer or custom targets. Set up each outboard with name, make/model, horsepower class, two-stroke or four-stroke, current hour-meter reading, and default intervals in hours and months. Keep separate named engines—primary, kicker, spare—each with its own meter state. The app always reopens on the last-active meter. Browse a chronological timeline of trips and completed services with hour stamps for warranty and resale records. Check a due-soon overview sorted for the active engine, and get local notifications when an interval crosses your hours or months threshold. No GPS, no sensors—typed hours and dates only. A seeded demo engine loads on first launch so you see a living meter immediately, not an empty form. Simple, focused, and ready for the next day on the water.
