Founded in 1885 as the Builders Exchange of Detroit and Michigan, the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) is the oldest and largest regional construction association in North America. CAM’s membership is comprised of general contractors; specialty/sub-contractors; equipment and material suppliers; and service firms, including construction law, tax, finance, and safety professionals. CAM tracks and report on projects available to bid; offers professional development in the areas of construction management, law, and safety; facilitates networking events; engages in effective legislative advocacy; and provides service, information and assistance to Michigan’s construction industry.
