BSYS Price Checker

BSYS Price Checker turns Android devices with a built-in barcode scanner into in-store price check terminals. The customer scans a product; its name and price appear in large type and the price is read aloud. The app is available in English, German and Turkish: screens, spoken price and number format follow the device language or the language chosen in the settings. Prices can be shown and spoken in USD, EUR, GBP or TRY. FEATURES • Direct Microsoft SQL Server connection: prices are read live from your ERP database, no extra server software needed. • Your own SQL query: write the query in the settings; @BARCODE (the scanned barcode) and your own parameters such as @WAREHOUSE or @PRICE_TYPE are sent safely as query parameters. • Spoken price: Android text-to-speech reads the product and its price; the spoken text is set with a template. • Discounts: the old price is shown crossed out above the new price. • Idle ad screen: images and videos from a shared folder on your server are played in turn. The folder is copied to the device, so playback continues if the network drops. • No on-screen keyboard: works with keyboard emulation, "type into focused field" and broadcast output modes (Urovo, Sunmi, Newland, Chainway, iData, Zebra DataWedge). • Kiosk use: full screen, screen always on, back button disabled; can run as the home screen app and start at boot. • Settings open with a special settings barcode or a PIN-protected touch gesture. • Demo mode: try the app with sample products without a server. COMPATIBILITY Works with ERP software that uses Microsoft SQL Server 2005–2022. The ad folder needs a Windows share (SMB2/SMB3). Contact us for help with installation and preparing the SQL query.
