BroInTheAir

BroInTheAir organises group trips starting from the confirmations you receive by email: flights, trains, hotels, car rentals, ferries. You forward the email (or paste the text, or photograph the confirmation) and the trip builds itself, with times, booking codes and the people taking part. WHAT IT REALLY DOES - Reads the confirmations you send it and turns them into an itinerary in time order, without you having to type anything by hand. - Follows the status of flights, of Italian trains and Italo, of SNCF and Deutsche Bahn, of Flixbus and Itabus buses, and the position of ferries and cruise ships. For other operators the time stays the one on the booking, without real-time updates. - The Bro, the assistant inside the app, answers questions about your trip (times, gates, weather, entry requirements, where to eat near you) by reading the trip data and citing its sources. - Split the trip's expenses among the people taking part and see straight away who owes what to whom. - Keep documents such as your passport and driving licence in a PIN-protected Vault, with a reminder before they expire if you have a trip coming up. - Organise the trip with the people travelling with you: travellers with an account and guests without one, each seeing what they need to see. - Share a public link to the itinerary with the people staying at home, if you want: only dates, times and stops, never documents or expenses. - A packing list suggested based on your itinerary and the weather. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO BroInTheAir has no official connection with the airlines, rail companies or transport companies it names: it reads the confirmations you send it and follows the public status of services, it doesn't sell tickets and it doesn't issue travel documents. The app is currently free, with no subscriptions. Interface in English and Italian, dark theme by default, designed for your phone.
