Meridian

A turret at the bottom. Two facets you angle yourself. One beam that only goes where they send it. Meridian is a bottom-up bank-shot shooter: drag either deco facet to set the angle it swings toward — it never snaps there instantly, so pre-aiming both facets before you fire is the whole skill. Tap anywhere else and the turret sends a beam straight up; it travels in a straight line until it reflects off whichever facet it meets, banking toward the gems drifting down from the top. Land the bank shot and the gem shatters for coins. Miss, and it keeps falling — reach the crush line near the turret and it costs a shield charge, or a life if you're out of shields. Chain hits into a streak for a growing score multiplier, and every eighth one triggers a brief fire-rate surge — real extra shots, not just a bigger number. Spend the coins you earn on permanent upgrades: faster fire, a wider beam tolerance, quicker facet rotors, extra shield charges at run start, or an extra life. Three sky presets (Dawn, Zenith, Dusk) tune how fast gems fall and how quickly you can fire, so there's always a tighter bank shot to line up.
