Box Walks

Box Walks turns Britain's iconic, red telephone boxes into destination points on nature-themed walks, which unlock interactive content. Visit each phone box to learn about an environmental theme, play games and compete with other members on the Box Walks app. Our walks are currently available in the Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. The Box Walks app will record when you visit a phone box and complete a walk. It will do this automatically. You will also have the option to scan the QR code or NFC tag in the phone box to unlock the phone box’s content manually. Each box has a theme with interactive content, such as videos, podcasts, quizzes and places to visit.
