Full description
Reach your notifications with your thumb, not a stretch. Bottom notifications puts a notification shade at the BOTTOM of your screen, where your hand already is. Tap the small floating button and your notifications slide up - easy to read, easy to reach, and easy to make your own. YOUR PRIVACY COMES FIRST - Your notifications never leave your device. The app never sends them anywhere. - No ads. No trackers. No analytics. - No account, no sign-up, no email. It needs notification access and permission to display over other apps. Everything else, including the Accessibility Service below, is optional - you are always in control. HOW THIS APP USES THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE Bottom notifications includes an optional Accessibility Service. It is OFF by default; every other feature works fully without it. Turned on, it powers five things: - Per-app behaviour: it detects which app is in the foreground, so the button can hide or move aside in the apps you choose. - Keyboard awareness: it detects when the on-screen keyboard is showing and where it sits, so the button moves out of the way while you type. - Navigation gestures: it performs Back, Home, and Recent-apps actions when you assign one to a button tap or swipe. - Rule actions: Android allows rules to press a notification's own buttons, open it, or reply only while it is on. It taps nothing and reads nothing extra. - Saved texts: when a gesture triggers one, it pastes that text into the field you are typing in. It checks only which app is in front, whether the keyboard is showing, and which field to paste into. It does NOT read, log, record, collect, or transmit the content of your screen, your keystrokes, or any personal data, and nothing it observes ever leaves your device. You can turn it off at any time in Android's Accessibility settings. A NOTIFICATION MANAGER, NOT JUST A SHADE Rules that watch for the notifications you describe, then act for you: - Silence, snooze or dismiss them, or hold them for delivery at times you choose. - Let the first message through and keep the rest quiet, so a busy chat interrupts you once. - Get a reminder later, a code copied, or a notification's own buttons pressed for you. - Alert your way: your own sound, vibration, a torch flash, screen lighting, or read aloud. - Match on app, words, category, importance, contacts, times and phone state - then combine, nest or invert. - Twenty ready-made templates; drag rules to reorder. SCREEN LIGHTING - New notifications light up the screen edge and the space round the button, from Neon to Fireworks. A SHADE THAT FITS YOU - Design the button - size, shape, colours, border, position - with app icons, a count or the latest icon around it. - 36 ways for the button to appear and hide, and a spinning record or tape while music plays. - Style every part of a notification, and browse as a clean list or a playful "ferris wheel". - Material You, icon packs, and your own icon for any app. - Save your look, back it up, restore it any time. EVERYDAY HELPERS - Swipe to dismiss, tap to open, reply from the shade, and a full media player. - Snooze in one tap; Actions lists the code, link or number inside, to open, copy or share. - Long-press a row to pin, group, exclude, or make a rule. - Group a chatty app into ONE row and clear it with one swipe. - Choose which apps appear. Do Not Disturb aware, so quiet time stays quiet. GESTURES, SHORTCUTS AND WIDGETS - A tap and four swipes on the button, or an Action wheel to slide across; group them into "modes". - Open the shade from the home screen, lock screen, Tasker or MacroDroid. - Widgets: a full list (lock screen too), slim icon strips, and a tiny count. A FEW THINGS TO KNOW - Available in 50 languages. - Works on Android 10 and newer. - If your phone closes background apps, the in-app tips help. Bottom notifications is for anyone who wants their notifications closer to hand, styled their way, and kept on their own device. Give it a try and make it yours.

What's new

Fixed animation around the button not being placed in the correct location. Fixed centred browsing modes. Fixed taps on notifications sometimes doing nothing in the centred browsing modes until you scrolled. Fixed the shade's media controls stopping working after the player restarted.
