Bookties: Shared Book Notes

Read the same book. Spoil nothing. Bookties is a margin you share with the people you read with. Every note stays sealed until the reader reaches that chapter, so you can finally talk about a book while you are both still inside it. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add the book. Search Open Library, pick your edition, set how many chapters it has. Covers and metadata come along. 2. Share it with a friend. Both of you read at your own pace, and Bookties tracks where each of you is, chapter by chapter. 3. Write in the margin. Leave a note on the chapter you just finished. It is sealed until your friend gets there. 4. Notes unlock as you read. Move your progress marker and their notes open up, in the order they were meant to be read. SPOILER-SAFE BY CONSTRUCTION Unlocking is enforced on the server, not hidden in the interface. A note you have not reached is not in the page you are given. There is no "tap to reveal" to fumble at 1am, and no way for the app to leak the twist through a preview. WHAT YOU GET - A shelf you both can see.
