Boma Guide

Every safari guide carries knowledge that took years in the field to build — routes, animal behavior, the small details only an experienced eye would catch. Most of it is only ever spoken once, to whoever's in the vehicle that day, then gone. Boma Guide exists to change that. Tap Start Safari before your drive and the app records your own narration on your phone the whole time you're out — nothing else. No cameras, no location tracking, no background recording between drives. Every recording is attributed to you, so what you know stays connected to you as the guide who knows it. Over time, those recordings become something bigger than any single drive: a growing, guide-built record that helps other guides learn faster, helps visitors understand more of what they're seeing, and supports conservation awareness by capturing detail that would otherwise only ever live in memory. An external microphone is required for reliable audio in an open vehicle; the app checks for one before you can start. Recordings are saved on your phone first and upload automatically once you're back at camp with a connection, so a weak signal out on a drive never gets in the way. Access is by admin approval only, so there's no public sign-up. Built for the realities of a real safari drive: long sessions, patchy connectivity, and a guide who's focused on the animals, not the phone.
