Initial Setup] When you first launch the app, tap "Select Music Folder" and choose the directory where your audio files are stored. Thanks to high-speed local caching, subsequent launches are instantaneous. [2. Player Controls (Top Section)] • Play / Pause: Tap the large center button. • Skip / Previous (Swipe): Swipe left on the player area to skip to the next track. Swipe right to rewind to the beginning or go to the previous track. • Volume Control (Drag): Slide your finger up or down on the player area to adjust the volume smoothly. • Seek Bar: Drag the progress slider to scrub through the track accurately without accidental mis-taps. [3. Folder Navigation & Track Actions (Bottom Section)] • Open Folder: Tap any folder item to enter. • Play Track: Double-tap any song in the list to start playback immediately. • Add to Queue: Long-press any song to add it to your playback queue. • Quick Navigation (Swipe): Swipe right across the list to go up one folder level. Swipe left to cycle through sibling folders at the same level. • Jump to Playing Track: Tap the target crosshair icon in the navigation bar to locate the current playing song's folder instantly. [4. Playback Modes] Tap the mode badge in the top-left corner or open the menu (︙) to switch modes anytime without interrupting current playback: 1. Folder Loop Off: Plays songs in the folder sequentially and stops. 2. Folder Repeat: Repeats songs in the current folder continuously. 3. Folder Shuffle: Shuffles songs in the current folder. 4. All Tracks Loop Off: Plays all library songs sequentially. 5. All Tracks Repeat: Repeats all library songs continuously. 6. All Tracks Shuffle: Shuffles all songs across all folders. [5. Managing Queue] Review queued tracks, delete individual entries, or clear the entire queue via "Check Queue" in the top-right menu (︙). [6. Settings & Utilities (Menu ︙)] • Rescan Library: Perform a full scan to refresh new files and ID3 metadata tags. • Haptic Feedback: Toggle tactile vibration feedback ON/OFF. • Disable Battery Restriction: Recommended setup to prevent Android OS from sleeping or terminating background playback. ──────────────────── ◆ Privacy & Permissions ──────────────────── FolderPlay operates completely offline.
