Bluebird Drivers

Bluebird Driver is the on-the-road companion for drivers operating on the Bluebird Group transport network. It replaces the paper trip sheet with a single screen that shows the driver exactly which trip is next, who is being collected, and where. This is a staff application. A Bluebird driver account is required to sign in — it is not usable by members of the public. YOUR DAY, IN ORDER See every trip assigned to you, with the ones still to come listed alongside the one you are on now. Each trip shows the vehicle you are driving, the route, and the passengers expected at every stop, so nothing has to be looked up or phoned in. GUIDED TRIP EXECUTION Work through a trip stop by stop. The app opens on the active leg with an embedded live map showing your position against the route ahead. At each stop you mark passengers on board for a pickup, or dropped off at the destination, and the app moves you on to the next leg. When the last passenger is delivered the trip is closed off from the vehicle. NO-SHOW CAPTURE, WITH EVIDENCE When a passenger is not at the stop, record the no-show on the spot and attach a photo as proof. The record reaches the operations team immediately, so the office is not chasing a driver for an explanation hours later. BUILT FOR BAD SIGNAL Coverage on the routes Bluebird runs is not dependable, so the app does not assume it. Your full trip list, every passenger, every address and every stop coordinate are downloaded when you sign in and held on the device. Trip screens keep working with no connection at all. Anything you record while offline — boarding, drop-offs, no-shows, photos — is queued and sent automatically when signal returns, and a Failed Uploads screen shows you anything still waiting so nothing is quietly lost. TRIP ALERTS Get a notification the moment a trip is assigned to you or an existing one changes, so a schedule change reaches you before you drive to the wrong place. LOCATION USE Bluebird Driver collects location data to show your position on the trip map, to record arrival at each stop, and to give the operations team and waiting passengers an accurate live position and estimated arrival time for the vehicle. Location is collected in the background, and while the app is closed or not in use, only while you are signed in and on an active trip. A permanent notification is shown while this is happening. Location is never collected when you are not on a trip, and the app does not track drivers off shift. WHAT YOU NEED An active Bluebird Group driver account.
